The BIANZ Education Advisory Service works to raise public awareness and understanding of brain injury and ways to prevent it.
We offer an excellent series of innovative, high impact programmes to teach children and adults about the causes and consequences of brain injury.

These Programmes Include:
- General education programme – an educational and interactive presentation that raise awareness and provides information about the brain, brain injury, and its consequences. Includes brain injury prevention information.
- Healthcare professionals – an education programme designed to increase health professionals’ knowledge of brain injury knowledge and provide information on where and how to get help for patients/clients.
- Road Safety programme – a powerful, interactive prevention programme designed to teach drivers of all ages the dangers of impaired and distracted driving using Fatal Vision resources. Includes general information about brain injury and brain injury prevention.
- Domestic violence prevention programme – a general brain injury and injury prevention programme. Includes a demonstration of the consequences of shaking a baby.
- Sports and Concussion – an interactive prevention programme for athletes, coaches, parents and referees focusing on concussion, particularly concussion symptoms, treatment and prevention.
- Cycle Safety – a presentation that provides information about the brain, brain injury and bicycle safety.
- Child Safety Programme – an interactive awareness and prevention programme that teaches children and their parents/caregivers about the brain, brain injury and safety behaviours.
These programmes can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
